Semiannual Reports to Congress
The
Inspector General Act of 1978 requires the Office of Inspector General to
prepare semiannual reports summarizing activity for the preceding six-month periods ending March 31st and September
30th.
The Act also requires the Inspector General to provide the semiannual
reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Corporation for National and Community
Service no later than April 30th and October 31st of each year.
It directs the CEO to send semiannual reports, along
with the Corporation's response, to the
appropriate Congressional committees within thirty days after receiving the report.
Semiannual reports and the Corporation's responses are posted on this web
page after they are sent to Congress.
